党章规定,党员“在生产、工作、学习和社会生活中起先锋模范作用”;同时又把“充分发挥党员的先锋模范作用”作为党的基层组织的“基本任务”。这说明党员先锋模范作用发挥的程度如何,取决予两方面的因素:一是党员个人自身的努力,二是党组织对党员起先锋模范作用的组织保证。二者相互联系,相互促进,缺一不可。
The party constitution stipulates that party members “play an exemplary vanguard role in production, work, study and social life.” At the same time, they regard “giving full play to the vanguard exemplary role of party members” as the “basic task” of the party’s grassroots organizations. This shows that the extent to which party members play an exemplary vanguard role depends on two factors: first, the efforts of the party members themselves; second, the party organization guarantees the party’s exemplary role as a vanguard. The two are interrelated and mutually reinforcing and indispensable.
