我们不断收到各地读者来信,对本刊提出宝贵的意见,对此,我们表示衷心的感谢。因限于人力,不能一一答复,这里再摘登一些有代表性的来信,并说明一点情况和希望,作为我们的答复。一、关于增加篇幅和举办刊授的问题。篇幅问题,经同有关方面商量,拟从今年第4季度起增加到48个页码。刊授问题,我们作了些了解,编辑部确实没有力量和条件举办,已向有关方面反映,请他们考虑。二、不同行业的读者都希望多刊登有关本行业的文章,这种心情我们是理解的,要求也是合理的。但是,本刊毕竟篇幅有限,就是增加了篇幅,也难以完全满足各行各业的各种特殊需要。我们只能是在以企业为主的基础上,尽最大努力兼顾其他行业的需要。也希望这些行业的领导部门、读者、作者为我们组织和撰写稿件,协助我们做好各个方面的宣传报道。三、刘瑞昌同志提出,希望增加插图、漫画,做到图文并茂。这是一个很好的意见。希望擅长美术的同志,为我们提供插图、漫画、栏头画和照片等作品,帮助我们做好活跃版面的工作。
We continue to receive letters from readers all over the country and put forward valuable opinions on this magazine, and we hereby express our heart-felt gratitude. Due to the limited manpower, we can not reply one by one. Here we have to pick up some representative letters and explain some situations and hopes as our reply. First, on the issue of increasing the length and holding the publication. Due to space constraints, it is proposed to increase to 48 page numbers starting from the fourth quarter of this year upon discussion with relevant parties. We have learned some issues and we do not have the strength and the conditions to hold the editorial department. We have already asked the parties concerned for their consideration. Second, readers of different industries want to publish more articles on the industry. We understand this kind of mood and the requirements are reasonable. However, after all, the limited length of our magazine means an increase of space and difficulty in fully satisfying the special needs of all walks of life. We can only do our best to accommodate the needs of other industries on the basis of business. We also hope that the leaders, readers and authors of these industries will organize and write manuscripts for us to help us make various publicity reports. Third, Comrade Liu Ruichang proposed to increase illustrations and cartoons so as to accomplish both illustrations and pictures. This is a good opinion. We hope that those comrades who are good at art will provide us with illustrations, comic books, ballads and photographs to help us make active layouts.
