The pathogenesis of periodontitis, including inhibition of cellular immune function, leukocyte chemotaxis and phagocytic function decreased. The authors studied leukocyte phagocytosis in patients with periodontitis, and the possibility of correcting phagocytic dysfunction with lymphokines.
