在教学过程中发现,许多学生(大中专生皆有),最头疼的是阅读理解及译文。相当部分的学生做阅读理解练习时,分析不透,理解不深,做题没底。做译文练习时,有些学生几乎是逐字的将中文换成英文,学到的完全是汉语式英语。究其原因,是学生的文化素质偏低,他们不理解词语所含的文化内容,缺乏语言构建的能力,因而不能做到正确的判断,达不到预期的学习目的。可见,文化与语言的关系,文化素质对语言形式和浯言运用的影响。文化渗透在英语教学中具有必要性。

A considerable part of the students doing reading comprehension exercises, analysis of impervious, understanding is not deep, do not question the end. When doing translation exercises, some students change Chinese to English almost verbatim, and they learn entirely Chinese-style English. The reason is that students’ cultural quality is low. They do not understand the cultural contents contained in the words and lack the ability to construct the language. Therefore, they can not make correct judgments and fail to achieve the expected purpose of learning. Can be seen that the relationship between culture and language, cultural quality of the language form and the impact of the use of Taoism. Cultural penetration is necessary in English teaching.
