After British New England was founded, the Puritans immigrants brought not only financial capital and technology, but also new lifestyles and Puritanism. In their transformation of the original ecological environment in North America, they actively developed their transportation and intra-industry trade networks in accordance with local conditions, opened up foreign trade and constantly enriched their export product mix and structure. As the degree of integration between the colonies and the Atlantic trading system continues to increase, the commercialization of the New England economy has not only led to major changes in the economic structure, but also has stimulated North American economic development as the trans-Atlantic trade center.
