新课程标准提出:重视口算,加强估算,提倡算法多样化。数学课程标准第一学段目标中提到:学生应“能结合具体情境进行估算,并解释估算的过程”。所以在本学段,教师要不失时机地培养学生的估算意识和初步的估算技能。一、创设生活情境,感知估算的意义在实际生活中,学生估算方面体验少,不知道在什么情况下需要估算。因此,创设估算的具体情境,培养学生的估算意识,就十分有必要了。
