As we all know, the chromosomes due to a variety of environmental factors change, especially the impact caused by x-ray, has drawn great attention. Recently, many researchers have expressed concern about the changes in the chromosomes produced by various chemical substances. In industrial medicine, chromosomal abnormalities have been reported in people exposed to x-rays, benzene or vinyl chloride in occupational exposure. Further attention has been paid to chromosomal abnormalities caused by ingestion of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium and mercury. X-rays, benzene and vinyl chloride are significant oncogenic factors, and recently have been of interest for the role of many of the oncogenic factors as chromosomal factors.
