普通钎焊炬都是由两根气管组成的,一根是自燃气管,通入乙炔气或丙烷气的;另一根是助燃气管,通氧气用的。自燃气体和助燃气体进入焊炬的混合室混合,然后由喷嘴喷出形成火焰作为钎焊的热源。新式钎焊炬只有一根自燃气管,通入乙炔气或丙烷气用的。而助燃气体是直接利用周围的空气。这种新式钎焊炬是由手把、喷嘴、锥度管、混合室、旋转器、燃烧管等组成(其结构如图示)。
