贾芝,男,1913年12月出生于山西省襄汾县。生前曾任中国社科院荣誉学部委员、中国文联第八届荣誉委员、中国民间文艺家协会名誉主席、国际民间叙事研究会资深荣誉委员。1953年工作于中国科学院文学所,1980年任中国社科院少数民族文学研究所所长、研究员。1982年12月离休。他也是现代民间文学界德高望重的老专家。在民协工作期间深入民族地区田野考察,勤恳工作,宽厚待人,
Jia Zhi, male, born in December 1913 in Xiangfen County, Shanxi Province. Before his death, he was a member of the honorary academic department of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, honorary chairman of Eighth China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, honorary chairman of China Folk Literature and Art Association, and senior honorary member of International Folk Narrative Research Association. 1953 Worked in the Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1980 Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of minority literature researcher, researcher.
