当今,世界格局正经历战后以来最大变化。继东欧剧变之后,苏联又在大动荡,社会主义运动受到严重的挫折。如何用马克思主义的原理,用马克思主义的立场、观点和方法,正确认识社会主义和资本主义在世界范围内并存的长期性和斗争的曲折性,这对于坚持社会主义信念,坚信社会主义必然代替资本主义的客观规律,坚持和发展马克思主义,建设具有中国特色的社会主义,都具有重大的意义。它是当前亟待解决的问题。
