广州市金属学会是由广州地区冶金及相关行业科技工作者自愿参加组成的学术性、行业性社会团体,在广州地区具有一定的影响力。学会作为党和政府联系广大科技工作者的桥梁和纽带,按照中国科协倡导的“献身、创新、求实、协作”的精神和本学会的宗旨,团结和组织广大冶金科技工作者,在广州地区冶金行业的科技进步、企业的经济建设、社会发展等方面起到了一定的促进作用,取得了富有成效的工作成果。
The Guangzhou Institute of Metals is an academic and industrial social group voluntarily participated by metallurgical and related industry scientists in Guangzhou. It has a certain influence in Guangzhou. As a bridge and link between the party and the government in contacting vast numbers of scientists and technicians, the Institute has unite and organize a large number of metallurgical scientists and technicians in accordance with the spirit of “devotion, innovation, objectivity and coordination” advocated by China Association for Science and Technology and the purpose of this Society. The progress of science and technology in the metallurgical industry, the economic construction and social development of enterprises played a certain role in promoting and achieved fruitful results in the work.
