一种广泛适用于安全、燃气、石化、化工、消防、矿业等专业和安全教育中心的教学,以及用于可燃气体、石化、化工和消防器材、矿业等企业生产部门和科研单位作相关性能的对比性实验装置,即《DBZ—1型可燃气体爆炸极限与阻火实验装置》,由中国地质大学(武汉)安全研究室经过二年多的艰苦努力,于一九九○年十月底在武汉通过了地矿部科技司组织的部级鉴定。专家、教授们认为,《DBZ—1型可燃气体爆炸极限与阻火实验装置》是国内外首次研制成功的在动态条件下测试爆炸极限、相对爆压随燃气和空气混合比变化规律的实验装置;实现了测试爆炸浓度极限、爆压随混合比变化规律和阻火原件的阻爆耐烧性能测试的合三为一的多用途、普及型综合实验装置。
