Objective To evaluate the effect of hypertension detail management on the basis of current hypertension management mode. Methods Detail management of hypertension was administered in the management group (n = 549) and the current model of hypertension management in the control group (n = 200). Results The SBP and DBP decreased by 3.94 and 1.72 mm Hg compared with baseline (P <0.01), waist circumference and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) decreased significantly from baseline (HDL-C) increased significantly compared with the baseline, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). At the end of the control group, waist circumference, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and LDL-C increased significantly compared with the baseline, while HDL-C decreased significantly compared with the baseline (P <0.05, P <0.01). The management group was higher than the control group in reducing the risk factors of hypertension, improving the awareness of knowledge, improving the standard of treatment and satisfaction index. Conclusions Hypertension management is helpful to control blood pressure and reduce risk factors, which is more effective than current hypertension management mode.
