在东西差距中,表现在乡镇企业发展程度的距极为突出,也相当关键。据统计,1994年沿海地区乡镇企业的总产值比西部高8倍,仅江苏一省的乡企总产值就是西部9省区的2倍。人口仅有100万的锡山市乡镇企业产值达684亿元,相当于黔滇甘青宁新6省区的总和。时间又过了几年,差距依然存在。
In the gap between the east and the west, the performance in the development of township and village enterprises is extremely prominent and crucial. According to statistics, in 1994, the total output value of township and village enterprises in the coastal areas was 8 times higher than that in the west. Only the output value of rural enterprises in one province in Jiangsu Province was twice that of the 9 western provinces and autonomous regions. The output value of township enterprises in Xishan City, with a population of only 1 million, reached 68.4 billion yuan, equivalent to the sum of the 6 provinces and autonomous regions in Guizhou, Yunnan, Gansu, Ningxia and Ningxia provinces. After a few years, the gap still exists.
