党的十七大明确提出了要“促进工业由大变强,振兴装备制造业”的指导思想。装备制造业是国民经济持续发展的基础,是工业化、现代化建设的发动机和动力源,是国防安全的保障,是发展现代文明的基础。湖南装备制造业在全省经济发展中发挥了重要作用,在全国经济发展中产生了一定影响。2006年实现工业总产值1162.05亿元,占全省工业总产值的43%。贯彻落实十七大报告精神,加快发展装备制造业,建设大而强的现代工业体系,是湖南经济发展的一大重要任务。
The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward the guiding ideology of “promoting industrial transformation from large to strong to revitalizing the equipment manufacturing industry.” Equipment manufacturing industry is the basis for the sustainable development of the national economy, the engine and power source for industrialization and modernization, the guarantee of national defense and the foundation for the development of modern civilization. Hunan equipment manufacturing industry has played an important role in the province’s economic development and has had some impact in the economic development of the whole country. In 2006, the total industrial output value reached 116.205 billion yuan, accounting for 43% of the province’s total industrial output value. To implement the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the CPC, speeding up the development of the equipment manufacturing industry and building a large and strong modern industrial system is a major task for Hunan’s economic development.
