北京机械工程学会于1951年建会,到三十周年的今天,已发展到14个专业分会和拥有2500多名会员。为了迎接建会三十周年,北京机械工程学会举行了第五次常务理事扩大会。根据理事会的要求,各分会陆续举行了学术年会。焊接、动力、理化检验、传动、机加工、压力加工、摩擦磨损及润滑、气动液压等8个分会都召开了生动活泼的年会,共收到学术论文355篇,其中212篇在年会上宣读。有的论文达到国际先进水平,有的具有国内先进水平。在焊接分会年会上,清华大学潘际銮教授宣读的“一种新的电弧控制方法”和“新型三极管焊接电
Beijing Institute of Mechanical Engineers built in 1951, to the thirtieth anniversary of today, has grown to 14 professional clubs and has more than 2,500 members.
