蒋子龙,一九四一年八月四日生于河北省沧县。一九五八年初中毕业,进天津铸锻件厂(现天津重型机器厂)学徒,一九六零年参军到海军航保部当制图员,一九六五年复员回原厂当工人。一九七二年三月加入中国共产党,一九七四年任车间党总支副书记,现任车间副主任。一九六五年在《甘肃文艺》上发表第一个短篇小说《新站长》。
Jiang Zilong was born in Cang County, Hebei Province on August 4, 1941. Graduated from junior high school in 1958, he was apprenticed to the Tianjin Forging & Casting Factory (now Tianjin Heavy Machinery Factory), joined the Naval Aviation Assurance Department in 1960 as a cartographer and was demobilized in 1965 to be a factory worker. In March 1972, he joined the Communist Party of China. In 1974, he served as deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of the Workshop Party and is currently the deputy director of the workshop. In 1965, he published the first short story “New Webmaster” in “Gansu Literature and Art.”
