In 1952, the Library of Congress handed over the Manuscripts of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution to the National Archives of the United States. Both documents, together with the Bill of Rights, are the “Charter of freedom” and the most precious document of the National Archives of the United States. As to why the cabinets of the National Archives Exhibition Hall, especially the cabinets intended for the display of these documents, were empty for almost two decades and how the Library of Congress finally handed over to the National Archives two important documents in their custody, These situations have never been disclosed before. The documentary left the library ceremony on December 13, 1952 (Saturday). This is a spectacular ceremony. At 11 am, Brigadier-General Stott O. Ross, Chief of Air Forces Command, formally accepted the paper at the Library of Congress. Twelve Army SWAT officers then carried six wooden parchment parchment papers and stepped down the steps of the library building through a cordon of 88 female soldiers. The originals of these documents are packed in helium-filled glass boxes, which are then placed on wooden slats
