新一轮教学改革已经有十几年的时间了,可以说这是我国基础教育领域的一次革命,在深入进行素质教育的今天,其意义非常重要。但是我们也看到现在的农村小学教育的现状是不容人乐观的。语文学科本身就要求我们教师能够旁征博引、幽默风趣,读书是提高语文教师文学素养的必由之路。读书的目的和作用,在语文教学中体现得最为明显。不读书,学生对文本的理解能力提不上去。
