湖南省肿瘤医院创建于1972年。地处长沙市西区成家湖,是全省唯一的省级肿瘤专科医院,担负着本省及邻近省部分县市的肿瘤防治任务。是湖南省卫生厅直属单位中首家三级甲等医院,有长沙市花园式单位之誉。 医院占地82000余平方米,建筑面积8万余平方米。现有职工900余名,其中卫生技术人员671名,副主任医师以上高级技术人员80名,中级职称206名。实际开放病床700张,设有22个医疗、医技科室,7个研究
Hunan Cancer Hospital was founded in 1972. Located in Chengjia Lake in the West District of Changsha City, it is the only provincial-level oncology hospital in the province and is responsible for the prevention and control of cancer in some provinces and neighboring provinces. It is the first three-level hospital in the direct subordinate unit of the Hunan Provincial Department of Health. It has the reputation of being a garden-style unit in Changsha.
