In recent years, electron microscopy studies have revealed many new phenomena related to mineral structure, which have led to the study of heterogeneity of minerals, growth history and structural defects into the lattice and sub-lattice. Pyroxene found in the vast majority of meteorites, at the same time, both the crust of the major rock-forming minerals, but also inferred mantle one of the important minerals.
