阅读教学的一个主要任务是培养学生的阅读能力。但是单凭语文教材那仅有的几篇课文,不足以使学生的阅读知识传化为能力。只有进行大量的课外阅读,才能使学生吸收和储备大量的优美语汇,拓宽知识面,提高阅读分析理解能力,从而具备较好的语文素养。只有通过大量课外阅读,学生才能感知丰厚的感情语言材料,增强语言文化沉淀,提高读书能力。语文课程标准也对语文课外阅读作了具体明确的规定:课外阅读总量不少于400万字。可以看出课外阅读在语文教学中具有非常重要的作用。本文分析了农村中小学生课外阅读现状并提出了解决的策略。一、课外阅读现状及原因(一)学生学业负担过重,无时间阅读随着教育考核机制中的“教学质量”比重的加大,农村教师深感肩上担子越来越重。早晨是老师此起彼伏的讲课声;中午的休息时间里只见学生“川流不息”地接受老师的“训话”;即使下午的大课间活动里,校园里安静如正常上课时间。
One of the main tasks of reading instruction is to develop students’ reading ability. However, the only few texts of Chinese textbooks alone are not enough to make students’ reading knowledge into ability. Only a large amount of extracurricular reading can enable students to absorb and reserve a large number of beautiful vocabulary, broaden their knowledge and improve their reading comprehension and understanding skills so that they have good language literacy. Only through a large number of extra-curricular reading, students can perceive a wealth of emotional language materials, enhance language and cultural precipitation, improve reading ability. Chinese language curriculum standards also made specific and explicit reading of Chinese extra-curricular provisions: the total amount of extra-curricular readings should be no less than 4 million words. It can be seen that extracurricular reading plays a very important role in Chinese teaching. This article analyzes the status quo of primary and secondary school students reading in rural areas and puts forward the solution strategy. I. Present Situation and Reasons for Extracurricular Reading (I) Overburdened Students and Overload of Time With the increasing proportion of “teaching quality ” in the educational assessment mechanism, rural teachers are deeply burdened with shoulders and heavier burdens. In the morning, there are teacher lectures. After noon, I only saw the students “lean ” to accept the teacher “lecture ”; even in the afternoon big class activity, the campus was quiet as normal class time.
