女少年进入青春期后,乳房逐渐隆起,有些少女由于害羞,常常穿起紧身内衣或背心束胸,使乳房隆起不明显,其实这是影响健康和美观的做法。乳房的发育一般从10—12岁开始,整个过程约4—5年。在这期间,乳房不应受到压迫和约束。束胸,不仅会影响乳腺的正常发育,还会影响日后的哺乳功能,如缺乳、少乳、乳头内陷等。此外,青春期正是胸腔内部心、肺发育、肺活量猛增时期,束胸会阻碍胸廓的扩大,影响心、肺的发育。
