1986年在英格拜尔甜椒中发现一株雄性不育材料,经6年的培育研究,其雄性不育株率稳定在50%,系内兄妹交不育株与可育株分离比例为1:1,初步认为不育性系由一对隐性核基因控制,可培育成两用系,定名为 AB_(91)。该不育系从花器官到结实能力及经济性状等均表现优良,配合力也高,易于选配优良杂交种,是个较理想的雄性不育两用系。AB_(91)的发现及研究为甜椒杂种优势利用开避了一条新途径,具有较大的实用价值和学术价值。
A male sterile material was found in Ingeborll pepper in 1986. After six years of cultivation, the rate of male sterile plants was stable at 50%. The isolation rate of male sterile lines and male sterile lines in the line was 1: 1. It is preliminarily thought that infertility is controlled by a pair of recessive nuclear genes and can be bred to be dual-use and named AB_ (91). The male sterile line shows good performance from floral organ to fruiting ability and economic character, high combining ability and easy selection of excellent hybrids, which is an ideal male sterility dual-purpose line. The discovery and research of AB_ (91) has avoided a new way for the utilization of sweet pepper hybrids and has great practical value and academic value.
