1995年1月11日,中国美术学院隆重举行了史岩先生基金会成立仪式。史岩先生(1904～1994)是我国著名的美术史论家、美术教育家,生前任我院史论系教授、中国雕塑史博士导师。他将毕生积蓄50000元捐给史论系建立基金,以奖励优秀学生并资助家境困难的学生。在该基金成立仪式上,院系领导先后发言,高度评价了史岩先生的高尚情操,号召广大师生继承史岩先生遗志,推动我国美术史论事业的进一步发展。
January 11, 1995, China Academy of Art held a grand ceremony of the founding of Mr. Shi Yan Foundation. Mr. Shi Yan (1904 ~ 1994) is a well-known art historian, art educator, former professor of history of our college, and doctoral tutor of Chinese sculpture history. He donated a total of 50,000 yuan in life savings to the Department of History to establish a fund to reward outstanding students and help those in need. At the founding ceremony of the fund, the department leaders spoke one after another and spoke highly of Mr. Shi Yan’s noble sentiments. He urged students and students to inherit the legacy of Mr. Shi Yan and promote the further development of the cause of art history in our country.
