1989年3月,与广东省教育厅和高教局的同志一道,对湛江市的学校体育卫生工作进行了实地考察。现将考察情况报告如下: 一、基本情况湛江市下辖四区五县,人口505万。经济水平属广东省第三类。全市共有中学394所,小学2082所,中小学生约85万。自1980年以来,湛江市集资582万元,为中小学兴建大小田径场587个、各类球场4961个,增添大件体育器械16万件。1987年,全市中小学全部达到湛江市学校体育场地器材配备标准。
In March 1989, together with Comrades of Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and Higher Education Bureau, conducted a field visit on the school sports health work in Zhanjiang. Now examine the situation as follows: First, the basic situation Zhanjiang City administered four districts and five counties, population 5.05 million. The economic level is the third category in Guangdong Province. The city has a total of 394 secondary schools, 2082 primary schools, about 850,000 primary and secondary students. Since 1980, Zhanjiang City raised 5.82 million yuan for the construction of 587 track and field stadiums for primary and middle schools, 4,961 various kinds of stadiums and 160,000 pieces of large sports equipment. In 1987, the city’s primary and secondary schools all reached Zhanjiang City, school sports equipment standards.
