Since the 1980s, Shanghai publishing industry has undergone a period of rapid and steady development of more than 20 years under the historical background of reform and opening up. In the meantime, Hong Kong’s publishing industry has undergone a major round of development in the 1980s and a hovering adjustment in the 1990s. After entering the new century, the publishing industry in Hong Kong has begun a new round of development.
