In the past ten to fifteen years after the end of the Spanish Civil War in 1939, Mengzhu Le Gang was still a dilapidated small town, centered on churches, and economically maintained mainly by a steel plant. In 1956, the “Mongolian Legoland Experiment” began to be implemented. A small company producing light gas stoves was established, and 24 workers and 96 villagers were used as their economic backing.
