趋势面分析应用于构造地质学已有十几年的历史。本文除一般沿用前人的分析方法外,在陈太源同志的启发下,对趋势面分析结果的解释采用了构造力学的理论。一、趋势面分析的数学原理趋势面分析的方法较多,常用的有两种:一是多项式趋势面分析,一是富里叶趋势面(又称调和趋势面)分析。设有一曲面(如起伏的地层层面、崎岖的地表地形、或某种观测值构成的曲面等),我们在n个观测点作了下面一组观测:
