此图有倪云林意韵,也是用干笔皴擦,但要轻,逐层皴出,淡而厚。在枯瘦的丛树中,必须要有一枝用浓墨点出,为此画中的“眼”。醒笔,是石涛画中的神来之笔。临摹分四个步骤:步骤一.先画二组树,一组三棵树,另一组为独树,放于画面左侧方。中间留出一棵树的位置,放在最后以浓墨“醒”。步骤二.勾勒出边岸的土坡,然后再加中间的土山,用淡墨简笔为之。并且要画出沿山脚的一条路径,以此来突出画面空间的纵深感。
