Early infant epileptic encephalopathy with suppression - outbreak wave EEG, also known as Ohtahara syndrome (Ohtahara syndrome), and West syndrome, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome has some common features, is considered to be age-dependent epilepsy (?) A form of encephalopathy, the incidence is low, the main features of less than 3 months, especially in neonatal morbidity, many children with asymmetric congenital brain structural abnormalities. Frequent series or single episode of tonic-spasm can be seen mostly in waking and sleeping. About 1/3 of the cases have partial seizures. EEG appears on the EEG can be seen in the awake and sleep suppression - wave pattern, about 2/3 can be asymmetric. EEG at onset of tonic spasm mainly with or without initial fast-moving de-synchronization. Treatment difficulties, seriously affecting the prognosis of children.
