In keeping with the WTO, Shanghai has seized the opportunities in all aspects and is indeed the fastest-recognized city in the Mainland that is recognized as the “brainstorming center.” Recently, Shanghai took the lead in repealing nearly 100 local regulations and policies that contravened the WTO principles. It is learned that from the second half of this year, the Shanghai municipal government has started to clean up government regulations, and about 20% of the more than 400 completed regulations were abolished.
