和谐思维本质上是实践的,因为思维主体、思维对象都是在人的实践活动中创生的,和谐思维作为一种实践理念,它是在有中国特色社会主义建设事业的实践中建构起来的,是马克思主义中国化的理论提升。和谐思维本质上是辩证思维,它用整体联系、动态发展的观点看问题。追求和谐,正是以承认矛盾和差异为前提的。和谐社会的构建是一个动态发展的过程,并随历史进程而不断呈现出新的面貌和特点。
