番茄收获期集中于夏秋两季,收获高峰期损耗甚大,而过后又供应锐减,满足不了市场需要,因此番茄的延后贮藏显得十分必要。以往利用塑料大棚或苗床做秋季延后贮藏,均因温湿度变化极大,使品质下降,烂耗严重,上市果仅占贮量的1/2~1/4,贮藏效果极差。为此,1983~1985年我们开展了番茄产地简易贮藏技术的研究,在肯定适温(11±1℃)贮藏效果的基础上进一步进行了自发气调(Modified Atmosphere)效果及其相应措施的观察和研究,并在生产试验中收到了较好的效果。
