新英语课程标准指出:语言与文化是密切相关的。英语教学应有利于理解外国文化,加深对祖国文化的理解,进而拓展文化视野,形成跨文化交际意识和初步的跨文化交际的能力。结合教学内容,引导学生关注语言和语用中的文化因素,了解中外文化的异同,逐步增强学生对不同文化的理解力,为开展跨文化交际做准备。根据学生的语言水平、认知能力和生活经验,创设尽可能真实的跨文化交际情境,让学生在体验跨文化交际的过程中,逐步形成跨文化交际能力。
The New English Curriculum Standard states that language and culture are closely related. English teaching should be conducive to understanding foreign cultures, deepening their understanding of the motherland’s culture, further developing their cultural horizons and forming their intercultural communicative awareness and preliminary intercultural communication skills. Guide the students to focus on the cultural factors of language and pragmatics, understand the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign cultures, gradually enhance their understanding of different cultures and prepare for intercultural communication. According to the students’ language proficiency, cognitive abilities and life experiences, they should create as realistic intercultural communicative situations as possible so as to enable students to gradually develop intercultural communicative competence while experiencing cross-cultural communication.
