石英砂作为冲天炉底的耐火材料,首先是因为它具有足够的耐火度和机械强度,较好的化学稳定性和易于烧结等优点;更重要的是它椿炉底简单省事,安全可靠,打炉极为快速轻便。这种可佳效果使这一工艺逐步得到推广并深受大炉工人欢迎。我厂两台10吨冲天炉一直采用石英砂椿炉底,未发生过炉底漏铁水、“结死”和打不下来的事故。开炉完毕,打开炉底门,炉底耐火材料自动坠落,毫不费事,大大改善工人劳动条件和减轻体力
