The 1984 Annual Meeting of the Structural Society of Jiangsu Civil Engineering and Architecture Committee was held in Wujiang County, Suzhou from November 28 to December 1. Seventy representatives from across the province attended the academic conference. Thirty-seven papers, of which thirty-two were read at the meeting. The contents include: analysis of internal forces of high-rise building cylinders and frame structures; cast-in-place staircases
