本文聚焦於清代理學家方東樹撰成於晚年的家訓專著《大意尊聞》,在梳理作者生平經歷和學術實踐的基礎上,詳细分析了其書有關家教家風、做人立身、讀書治學、修德任事、處世交友、齊家睦親、治國安民等各個方面的内容,指出是書反映了方東樹對社會現實的觀察和思考,寄托了其對于孫以及世人的教誨和希望,也蕴涵了他畢生讀經研史的心得體會。認爲這部學界關注甚少的家訓著述,實際上凝聚了作者一生的閱歷、體驗、思考和感悟,體現出方東樹的思想主張和性格特徵,其中不少觀點和看法,至今仍有很强的借鑒意義,值得進一步深入研究。
