《在马克思墓前的讲话》第七自然段开头一句是“因为马克思首先是一个革命家”。关于句中“首先”一词的含义,目前有三种解释。其中有两种解释以标准答案形式出现在高考复习资料中,使人莫衷一是,无所适从。现将其摘录如下: 《高中语文自测手册》将“首先”的含义解释为:“马克思在革命实践活动方面的贡献比在科学研究方面的贡献更大。”《高中语文教学目标与检测》将“首先”的含义解释为:“马克思是一个科学家,但主要还是一个革命家”。《教学参考书》将“首先”的含义解释为:“‘首先’一词与前一段‘这在他身上远不是主要
