位于常州西郊大运河畔的常州拖拉机厂,始建于1952年,是生产小型拖拉机的专业工厂,系机械电子工业部的重点骨干企业。该厂实力雄厚,拥有主要生产设备500多台,其中自动、半自动生产线20条,工厂的综合工艺水平居全国同行业领先地位。1989年生产手扶拖拉机7万多台,据初步统计,其产量和利润分别占全国手拖行业23%和36.4%。多年来,工厂主要技术经济指标均达到或超过国家一级企业标准,有十项技术经济指标始终名列全国同行业
Changzhou Tractor Factory, located at the Grand Canal in the western suburbs of Changzhou, was founded in 1952. It is a specialized factory producing small tractors and a key backbone enterprise of the Ministry of Machinery and Electronic Industries. The strength of the plant, with more than 500 major production equipment, of which automatic and semi-automatic production line 20, the plant’s comprehensive level of technology in the same industry-leading position. In 1989, more than 70,000 walking tractors were produced. According to preliminary statistics, their output and profit accounted for 23% and 36.4% of the national trailing industry respectively. Over the years, the main technical and economic indicators have reached or exceeded the national level enterprise standards, ten technical and economic indicators have always ranked the same industry
