冷轧硅钢片工艺复杂,生产技术高超.诀窍多,保密性强,被誉为钢材中的皇冠.目前.全世界冷轧硅钢片产量为500～600万吨,年产量达100万吨以上的有日美、俄3国,占全世界一半以上.工业发达国家的冷轧硅钢片在钢材中占0.9%～1.5%.1992年我国硅钢片产量为68.8万吨.其中冷轧为13.35万吨.占19.6%;热轧为55.45万吨,占80.4%.另外,进口冷轧硅钢片为15.88万吨,占全国消费量82.77万吨的19.2%.1993年产量为76.23万吨,比上年度增产7.43万吨,其中冷轧为15.3万吨.占19.7%,比上年度增产1.95万吨;热轧为60.93万吨,占80.3%,比上年度增产5.48万吨.1994年消费量已增至91万吨,并逐年增加.我国硅钢片产量在钢材中比例为1%,但以冷轧计只有0.2%.这几年冷轧增长不快,冷热轧之比仍然没有大的改变.我国硅钢片生产的症结是如何尽快淘汰掉60万吨热轧硅钢片,换句话说,就是如何迅速增加冷轧硅钢片生产能力的问题,据预测,2000年我国钢材产量达9500万吨时,硅钢片比例接1.4%
