自新课改实施以来,我国普通中学采用的英语新版教材与我国《高中英语新课程标准》相辉映。其既顺应了时代变化的发展又满足了社会进步的需求。外研版英语新教材以培养语言综合运用能力为目标,融语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识为一体,使学生在学习语言的同时,体味、感受生活。它不但有利于提高学生的英语实际应用能力而且可以促进学生对世界多元文化的进一步了解。本文分析了在运用新教法教新教材的背景下,外研版英语新教材的特点,其旨在为提高英语教学做出微薄贡献。
Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform, the new version of English teaching materials adopted by ordinary middle schools in our country has been matched with the “New Curriculum Standards for Senior High School English” in our country. It not only conforms to the development of the times but also meets the needs of social progress. With the goal of cultivating the comprehensive utilization of language ability, the new textbook for English translation of foreign language studies integrates language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitude, learning strategies and cultural awareness so that students can appreciate and experience life while learning the language. It not only helps to improve students ’practical ability in English but also promotes students’ further understanding of the world’s multiculturalism. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the new version of the English textbook for foreign students under the background of using new teaching methods to teach new textbooks, and aims to make a modest contribution to improving English teaching.
