宋初进士的道德特征对于宋朝新型士大夫阶层的形成影响深远。他们从儒家的道德要求出发,严格省视自身,通过修身行德实现自身完美的人格,同时尊君忠君的道德规范亦被他们重新奉为准则,以维护君主权威,稳定社会秩序。尤其重要的是,宋初进士弘道于世的担当精神,表现出中国古代士大夫精神追求的转变。因此,宋初进士的道德特征主要表现为以道德之行辅佐君主,以忠正之心引导士风,以忠臣、明主的遇合来构筑尊君与弘道合二为一的和谐君臣关系。
The moral character of Jinshi in the early Song Dynasty had a far-reaching impact on the formation of a new class of scholar-officials in the Song Dynasty. Starting from the moral requirements of Confucianism, they strictly inspected themselves and implemented their own perfect personalities through moral cultivation. At the same time, they resurfaced their code of ethics in order to safeguard the monarch’s authority and stabilize social order. It is especially important that the scholarship of Jinshi in the early Song Dynasty played a part in the spirit of the world and showed the transformation of spiritual pursuit of the ancient Chinese literati. Therefore, in the early Song dynasty, the moral characteristics of Jinshi were mainly as follows: to help the monarch by virtue of morality and to lead the style of morale with loyalty and honesty, and to build a harmonious relationship between monarch and Hongdao in harmony with loyalty and masters.
