The image of a new hero is a vivid textbook for educating and inspiring the general public. The glorious reality of socialism and the lofty goal of communism require writers to create a more full and glorious heroic image while also providing extremely favorable conditions for the accomplishment of this great and arduous task. The desire of the author of Blood (February issue of Chosanaka) to shape an egoist hero is undoubtedly positive and good. So it won some praise for some degree. It is a pity that the heroic figure in the work is obliterated in a zigzag plot, thus undermining its ideological and artistic appeal; for there is no image that gives an unrealistic impression. This is my comrade Xiaohu and Tanfang Hui different opinions (see Yamahana 3, April issue).
