胡杨跳象Rhynchaenus sp, 属鞘翅目象科跳象亚科,主要为害胡杨、灰杨、箭干杨,是巴楚县1980年以来发生发展的一种林木害虫,胡杨被害率达16.3—34.0%,叶片受害率为25.3—54.0%,受害面积万余亩.其成虫啃食叶片,幼虫潜食叶肉,致使叶片枯焦并提早脱落,严重影响林木生长.现将1985—1987年初步观察结果简介如下.一、形态特征成虫 体长2.5—3.0毫米,椭圆形,黑色,体密被灰白色细毛;头小,密被灰白色鳞毛,复眼大,黑色,略凸出;头、喙、触角和足浅褐色;喙短,下弯,达前足基节之间,触角11节,膝状,柄节长约为第一鞭节的一倍,末端三节膨大呈棒状,并生有稀疏的白色刚毛;前胸背板短宽,后缘呈弧形,
