近年来,在许多林场的成龄刺槐发生腐朽,比较严重。有的林场建议采伐腐朽木。为了摸清情况找出原因,作出合理的决策,我们在徂徕山林场进行了调查。现将初步调查的情况介绍如下,以便引起各方关注,迅速研究解决。一、调查的方法首先在全场两万余亩刺槐林中进行了踏查,然后选择有代表性的林分作标准地调查,共设标准地12块,调查株数为1104株。标准地分两类:一是不伐倒林木,仅从外表调查腐朽的情况;另一类采用机械抽样方法抽样,将样木伐倒,调查干基腐朽的情况,伐倒木计658株。
