1929年创刊,由孙中山先生书写报名,国内资格最老,现发行量150万份的上海《新民晚报》,其集邮专版因七彩印刷,电脑排版,报道迅捷,富有地方特色,又得林霏开、唐无忌、黄明心、方翔、宝木等众多沪上集邮名家的投稿支持,从1997年1月编号出版以来,深得各地集邮爱好者的喜爱。但该版于2004年5月17日,在出版了378期后,悄悄地划上了句号。原因是从2004年5月18日起《新民晚报》开始复刊后的第五次改版。这对众多集邮文献收藏者来说无疑是一大憾事。
