This research, based on a survey of 25 middle schools in Hubei province, analyzed the expectation of middle schools for normal college students professional skills from the following four aspects: teachers professional moral, the headteachers work skills, professional theoretical knowledge and classroom teaching skills.The result shows that middle schools have following expectations to the normal school students: (1) In the professional ethics, loving the education career, having confirmed professional beliefs, dedication and devotion, caring students, with good team spirit; (2) In the head teacher work skills, having strong educational guide competence and organizational management ability and having communicative skills with students, parents and other teachers; (3) In the professional knowledge and technological literacy, having solid foundation of professional theoretical knowledge and a strong technological innovative thinking and ability; (4) In classroom teaching skills, having a good language expression and interpersonal communication skills, having good handwriting, especially with chalk and pen, knowing well the middle school teaching material and having the ability to deal with the teaching material, and having strong ability to use and develop courseware, can organizing classroom teaching effectively.Research findings reveal that in the teacher training process, normal college should take into account the specific needs of middle schools on the existing training programs and optimize the training programs and curriculum, and strengthen the professional skills of students.
