The 1997 electrocardiogram examination of 1997 workers exposed to high temperature in a steel mill and 1180 room temperature workers showed an abnormal rate of 26.49% in workers at high temperature and 15.08% in control group, with significant difference between the two groups (P <0.01) , And with the workers manual labor intensity and increased working age. It is suggested that high-temperature operation has a significant impact on workers’ electrocardiogram. Emphasis should be placed on improving the working environment of high-temperature workers in steel mills and strengthening the health guardianship of workers.
