由湖北省委、省政府主办的’93湖北省人才与技术交流会,于5月28日—30日在武汉洪山礼堂举行。这次大会是该省贯彻落实党的十四大和八届人大一次会议精神的大会,是全省上下各级政府齐心协力共办的大会,也是建国以来该省首次举办的人才与技术交流会。这对于湖北经济上新台阶无疑起到了强大的推动和促进作用,是振兴该省经济的一个契机。历时3天的层次高、规模大、影响面广的人才技术交流会,全省有14个地、市、州的2000个单位参加,共接待省内外各界交流人员14万余人,其中13000多人达成初步交流意向,5000多人现场成交。
